The Concrete Desk Set is made from concrete, a
material normally associated with the construction industry, but in this case
used to create unique desk accessories for the home or office.

Leimu is a table lamp which has a glass lampshade which
sits on a concrete base. The glass is tinted in a copper colour to produce a warm,
atmospheric light and the concrete is made slightly darker to make it seem
softer. The design is inspired by architecture, and wanting to bring a crude
and cold material like concrete into an interior setting. The fragile glass and
tough concrete is an unnatural pair, but it’s the contrast of the two materials
which makes the design work.

Contra is a bar stool in solid ash or walnut. The design is
driven by investigating a simple way of creating a structurally strong piece of
furniture. The combination of the mortis and tenon joint of the seat and legs
and the folded metal footrest make the stool incredibly strong and durable.
Contra is finished with black powder coated footrests and a black painted seat
with natural ash legs.

Locker is a series of storage furniture consisting of a
bedside table, a credenza, a sideboard and a chest of drawers. The pieces are
made from blackened ash and anodized aluminium.
The furniture is a contemporary fusion of industrial metal lockers, details
from decadent antique furniture and mid-century proportions. The fusion creates
four pieces of industrial luxury.

Beacon is a decorative table lamp which is inspired by lighthouses. The two layers of spun anodized aluminium will reflect the light up, down and between the layers. The combination of gold and purple aluminium creates a nice ambient light. The lamp has a black fabric covered cable and sits on a cast iron base.
